According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 123 people, 50 households, and 33 families residing in the town. The population density was 111.7 people per square mile (43.2/km²). There were 67 housing units at an average density of 60.8 per square mile (23.5/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 63.41% White, 19.51% Native American, 2.44% from other races, and 14.63% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.69% of the population.

There were 50 households out of which 36.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.0% were married couples living together, 18.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.0% were non-families. 34.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 22.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.46 and the average family size was 3.15.

In the town the population was spread out with 35.8% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 22.0% from 25 to 44, 17.1% from 45 to 64, and 17.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 33 years. For every 100 females there were 68.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 79.5 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $12,250, and the median income for a family was $15,417. Males had a median income of $21,875 versus $16,250 for females. The per capita income for the town was $9,431. There were 48.3% of families and 62.7% of the population living below the poverty line, including 93.9% of under eighteens and 24.0% of those over 64.
